Dining room detail

Fancy an escape once lockdown has lifted? A chance to unwind, to reset and to rest? We are very much keeping our fingers crossed that we will be allowed to welcome you to our home again soon. We know just how important having the space to breathe and a change of scenery is right now and we are really looking forward to welcoming guests again when it is safe to do so.

So, throughout December, January and February, we are offering a super duper special deal of three nights for the price of two.

You’ll also receive a bumper bounty of bubbles, luxury biscuits, hot chocolate and marshmallows.

All you have to do is book direct with us. We still have a couple of dates available in December and availability in January and February.

In the event that lockdown continues, we can either offer you a full refund or reschedule your trip to a later date (please note, the rescheduled trip must be taken within a year of the original booking and depending on the dates there may be a price difference).

*All bookings need to be made direct and must be booked by 15th December. The 3FOR2 offer is valid for stays between 3 December – 28 February excluding school holidays and subject to availability.

A few of our favourite things in September

The Cornish weather has certainly shown its wild side these past few weeks and although the summer sun has started to retreat and the leaves have begun to turn, there’s still a wealth of things to do and enjoy in Cornwall this month.

A Different Way of Seeing

At the Falmouth Art Gallery there is a wonderful exhibition called A Different Way of Seeing that explores the notion that everyone experiences art differently.

Open Studios Cornwall

Over this week 29th August – 6th September, over 200 studios across Cornwall will open their doors with special social distancing measures in place. From painters to potters, from illustrators to textile artists, you can take a peek behind the studio doors of an array of artists and makers across Cornwall.

Hippo Campus | Where we learn

This exhibition explores where, how and from whom we learn. Bringing together a range of artists and spanning many mediums it looks at alternative learning, unschooling and much more. The exhibition runs until 19th September at the Newlyn Art Gallery and The Exchange.

Royal Cornwall Museum

The Royal Cornwall Museum will be reopening from 12th September, full to brim with treasures from Cornish history and showcases Cornish life and culture across the years. It’s a lovely little museum with a fab cafe and art shop next door.

Jubilee Pool

The first geothermal lido has opened at the Jubilee Pool down in Penzance and we simply cannot wait to go and try it. Heated to 35 degrees by its own geothermal well. Make sure you check online for opening times and book your spot.
