Trevessa is an idyllic place for family-friendly escapes and romantic breaks. There are three ways to stay.
The annex is a self-contained space, with kitchen, dining area, downstairs full bathroom, a cosy lounge with woodburner, a bright well room, and a lovely sleeping area with king-size bed and a sofabed and travel cot. Find out more about the annex.
The main house sleeps up to seven people across four bedrooms, has a beautiful dining room, full equipped kitchen, a gorgeously comfy lounge complete with woodburner, secret study and downstairs cloakroom. Find out more about the main house.
Preparing for your Stay
- All bedding and towels, tea, coffee and some kitchen basics are provided (a bin bag, some dishwasher tablets, some washing up liquid).
- There is a woodburner in each part of the house, and we provide a basket of logs and you can pick up others from the nearest local shop in Summercourt or most garages.
- We would highly recommend bringing: beach towels, some wellies or outdoor shoes / waterproofs and old clothes if you want to play in the garden.
Things to know
Check in is from 16.00 and check out is 10.00.
We will not be there to welcome you to the house but are on hand by phone or message and will give emergency contact details.
You will need a car to get to the house, as the house is at the bottom of a private lane. The lane is shared with the farmer and two other properties and has a number of potholes, it can also get rather muddy in the winter months.
The WiFi is not the fastest due to where we live. Download speeds are generally ok but the upload can only handle light use.
The well room and dining area in the annex can get a little chilly in the colder months due to the nature of the building.
A few house rules
We want you to enjoy the space but please respect our neighbours and stay within the boundaries of the house and our garden only.
Please drive carefully and slowly when coming down the lane, as there are children and animals who are often on the lane.
You are welcome to load/unload your cases at the entrance of the house when arriving/departing but please park in the parking area for the duration of your stay, so that the farmer has access to the fields.
Please absolutely no smoking.
Please keep muddy boots out of the house.
Please no parties or events.
We’d love to welcome you to our home and share our favourite places to visit and things to do in Cornwall. If you have any questions, please do not hestitate to get in touch.
